10th Mazovia Development Forum

Mazovia, October 16-17, 2019

The 10th Mazovia Development Forum was held on October 16-17, 2019. This unique event organized by the Mazovian Unit for the Implementation of EU Programs was a space for exchanging experiences and sharing good practices in the use of European funds, as well as discussions about the future of the region – the needs and challenges faced by local governments, entrepreneurs, scientific, health and cultural institutions, educational or social. Interesting panels of debates on two stages and in the exhibition and networking space awaited the guests of the event. This year’s edition focused on four main themes, which were: Progress, Man, Nature, and the Region. It gathered over 2000 participants on site and as part of internet transmission. The Forum was co-created by over 90 speakers and over 50 partners representing various environments – local governments, business, scientific and non-governmental sectors. The debates that took place during the two days of the event gathered experts from various fields. There were also interesting discussions on transport of the future, academic innovations, investments in culture, and promotion of EU projects.

During this event, Mazovia Energy Agency organized an exhibition stand at which various projects, including POWER4BIO, were promoted. Our stand was visited by 57 people from various target groups: sector agencies, local and regional authorities, business environment, the general public, students. The brochures and project cards were distributed.
