Invitation to POWER4BIO online cross-visit to Lviv

Please note that this event will be organised as an online meeting.

Due to current situation in reference to the COVID-19 outbreak, the next POWER4BIO cross-visit will take place online, on May 19 from 11:00 to 13:15 (CET). All registered participants will receive the WebEx link for participation later.

During this online meeting, the UNFU team will introduce the regional situation and present the activities of regional stakeholders to the POWER4BIO partners. Then the main methodological ideas to elaborate a bioeconomy strategy for the Lviv region, results of the analysis of the bioeconomy in the region and results of the situational analysis will be presented. The main part of the online meeting will be dedicated to the Lviv’s region bioeconomy development strategy presentation. At the end of online meeting, a workshop is planned which will be dedicated to brainstorming the evaluation of the Lviv region bioeconomy strategy measures priorities and answer to the following questions 1) How to develop the regional bioeconomy in the poor awareness conditions? 2) How to develop the regional bioeconomy in the lack of financing conditions?

The main ideas of the Lviv online cross-visit are:

  • to present a draft strategy of the regional bioeconomy for POWER4BIO partners
  • to identify the main pros and cons of the regional bioeconomy strategy of the Lviv region
  • to remark future steps and to develop future directions of the bioeconomy strategy of the Lviv region implementation
