Webinar series: Sustainable and circular bioeconomy – Local and regional opportunities of the Hungarian bioeconomy
The aim of the webinar series is to inform the audience about the sustainable and circular bioeconomy, with a special focus on the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking call published in April 2020. The series will consist of three parts, 90 minutes each. The first occasion will detail the bioeconomy developments in Europe, Central-Eastern Europe and in Hungary. The second occasion will focus on the opportunities of industry and research sector; while the third one will provide a standing-ground for the establishment of the local and regional strategies and action plans. It is important to mobilize all the stakeholder groups: we aim to involve academic, higher educational, industrial and government sector, as well as the municipal actors.

The webinar-series is organised by the Hungarian Bioeconomy Cluster, Ministry of Agriculture, National Research, Development and Innovation Office and the National Delegation of Hungary at the European Committee of the Regions.
