Unterschätzte Reststoffströme: Erste Bioball-Projekte formen das Innovationsbündnis

Der Innovationsraum BioBall strebt die stoffliche Verwertung der in der Metropolregion Frankfurt/Rhein-Main anfallenden biogenen Stoffströme der zweiten bis vierten Generation an. Insbesondere biobasierte Abfallströme der privaten und kommunalen Wirtschaft sollen als Rohstoff für Produkte der Ernährung, Chemie, Pharma und Energie erschlossen werden. Zum Ausbau des Innovationsraums BioBall werden innerhalb der nächsten fünf Jahre innovative F+E-Projekte der Bioökonomie durch das BMBF gefördert.
