Workshop on Circular Bioeconomy for rural development through biomass

The Workshop on Circular Bioeconomy for rural development through biomass is organized by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, fisheries and food, ASAJA (Association of Young Farmers) and CIRCE. ­During the event, the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture will present the bioeconomy strategy framework and the opportunities that the new CAP (common agricultural policy) offers to rural communities. Also, representatives from DG AGRI (European Commission) and the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) will present the vision from the European point of view and the existing R&D&I opportunities.

CIRCE and ASAJA will disseminate the results of the H2020 project “Up_running”about the use of agrarian pruning and plantation removal for energy purposes. Hand in hand with this project coordinated by CIRCE, several success stories of valorisation of woody biomass will be presented by different entities. This event will be broadcasted in streaming.
